Welcome, Retrocomputing Fans!
Do you have a vintage computer that speaks IPv4? Would you like to make it available to other enthusaists in a safe, controlled way, without attackers destroying your systems? The Retrocomp Network is the answer! This network is a private, controlled access network for vintage computer enthusaists. Built similarly to the original design of the Internet, every device connected to the network is able to reach any other device in a simple, flat design.
Secure Interconnects
All connections to the network are secured using WireGuard, ensuring a modern, high-performance, and secure tunnel for your vintage hardware.
Flat & Dynamic Network
Every member receives a dynamically allocated public IP address on a simple, flat network, making it easy to connect and communicate with other enthusiasts.
Human-Centric Security
Joining requires an in-person key exchange, creating a trusted community and naturally filtering out bots, AI, and state-sponsored actors.
Help Build the Network
Retrocomp Networks is working to establish itself as a non-profit organization. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our NOC team and help build the future of retro-computing. If you're interested, check out our Github and read through the Design document to get started.
